Short Description

The Technical Officer is the person in charge of procuring the medical supplies. Therefore, his interaction with WIMEDS starts when the forecasts are finally approved by all the levels in the approval phase and they need to be procured. Specifically, the role of TO is to Create and Upload/Insert the Procurement Order.

When the forecasts are approved by all the actors, and the manufacturer is selected by the WHO NTD Programme Manager, the Technical Officer receives the task of creating a Procurement Order for the quantity corresponding to the approved forecast.

What triggers the task: This task is triggered when the Programme Manager HQ finally selects the manufacturer for the forecasts.

What happens after the task is completed: An email is sent to the Manufacturer informing about the created Procurement Order.
